The time has come to shed light on cellulite.
Making its appearance during puberty, cellulite affects 95% of women and increases during certain hormonal periods such as pregnancy and menopause.

Cellulite’s signature mark is a dimpling or orange peel texture of the skin which is caused by fat cells regrouping into certain areas, thus causing the elastic fibers to become distended and hardened. Circulation becomes inadequate, leading up to a build up of toxins which cannot be eliminated.

Better understanding
Many factors, such as lifestyle, poor nutrition, stress and the absence of physical activity can all lead to the appearance of cellulite. Cellulite, or lipodystrophy, is caused by an imbalance between the phases of lipogenesis (the formation and storage of fat) and lipolysis
(the elimination of fat). This results in a hypertrophy of the adipocytes, which if improperly treated, can lead the skin to develop cellulite’s trademark orange peel texture. When this occurs, treatment must be carried out on the cell itself.

A free evaluation is necessary in order to begin a course of treatment in fighting cellulite.

P.R. Cell
The P.R. Cell is a multifunction apparatus which efficiently combines the vacuum massage technique with that of “palper-rouler’’, or palpate-roll, a French technique. The tissue is drawn up between rollers to lift, fold, and roll the skin and subcutaneous tissue. This action drains the lymph fluid and softens the fibrous connective tissue, thereby remodelling the fatty layer and reducing the dimpling and orange peel effects of cellulite. P.R. Cell treatments can be easily adapted to different body shapes and can be customized to meet the specific needs of each client. This apparatus responds well to the market demands of the anti-aging and holistic trends.

In addition to treating cellulite, the P.R. Cell can be used in:

• scar treatment
• pre and post operative care
• pre-pregnancy and post partum care
• conjunctive massage
• circulatory massage
• drainage

Lumicell
Light plays an important role in many aspects of our lives, and cellulite is no exception. The Lumicell Touch is the only apparatus which uses infrared and magenta light penetration. In acting directly on the cell’s metabolism, this technique:

• activates beta receptors
• stimulates proper metabolic functioning
• activates collagen production
• increases blood tissue circulation
• facilitates lymphatic circulation

Palpate-roll (palper-rouler) and light
The Lumicell Touch acts directly on the cell’s metabolism through the use of infrared and magenta light, combined with deep tissue vacuum massage. These combined actions offer the most complete cellulite treatment available and by triggering a regenerative process in the cell, they result in a firmer, smoother, and more attractive looking skin.
